Newest cassava flour processing technology introduction
Introduction of the latest cassava flour processing technology
Different cassava flour processing technologies will produce different quality cassava flour. Our latest cassava flour processing technology can solve the problems of low peeling efficiency and poor product quality, ensuring that the produced cassava flour is finer, with higher quality and yield. This technology is suitable for customers who have higher quality requirements for cassava flour. To learn more about our technology, please consult our engineers.
The processing technology of cassava flour is basically divided into washing, washing, peeling, grinding, dehydrating and drying. However, the peeling process of cassava has always been a headache for cassava flour processing machine manufacturers, because peeling machines usually cannot achieve 100% cassava peeling rate, which may affect the production quality of cassava flour. In order to solve this problem, DOING engineers designed a new cassava flour processing technology, which does not require cassava peeling steps, but directly pulverizes cassava into pulp with high-efficiency rasp. The produced cassava flour has finer particles and higher quality.
Section 1: Cassava cleaning and washing part
Fresh cassava is easy to spoil, so after harvesting cassava, it takes 2 to 3 days to process it. It is first transported into a hopper, and then transported to a dry sieve, where its sand and impurities on the surface will be cleaned. Then, we need to transport the cassava tubers to the paddle washing machine. By adopting our latest tapioca flour processing technology, our tapioca paddle washing machine has a special design that can basically remove the peel. This means that we do not need a special cassava peeling machine.
Section 2: Processing part of cassava flour
The cassava flour processing section mainly includes cassava cutting, cassava crushing, cassava pulp dehydration, cassava cake crushing, and flour milling.
The cassava cutting machine cuts the cassava into 3cm~5cm particles, making it easy to grind the cassava into pulp. Then, our latest cassava flour processing technology uses high-speed rasps to crush the cassava into pulp. The cassava pulp will be pumped to the desander according to the principle of gravity to remove fine sand and impurities.
According to our cassava flour processing technology, we use a plate and frame filter press with cassava flour dehydration. After dehydration, the moisture of the wet cassava powder cake is about 40%-45%.
After the wet cassava flour cake is obtained, it is transported to a hammer mill for crushing and grinding, so that the wet cassava flour is easy to dry.
Section 3: The final drying stage of cassava flour
Our cassava flour processing technology uses a flash dryer for drying and a negative pressure system, which can save more energy. The heat source of the flash dryer is steam or hot air. The wet tapioca flour is heated by hot air and steamed out of water. After drying, the cassava flour and air are separated in a cyclone separator. The cassava flour is collected from the bottom, and the moist air is discharged into the atmosphere after leaving the cyclone.
After the cassava flour is dried, the moisture content is about 12%. After that, the collected cassava flour is transported to a vibrating sieve machine, where the coarse particles are sieved. Then the sifted tapioca flour is transported to the hopper for storage, cooling and packaging according to customer requirements.
